voice talent
You’ve probably heard Shari Elliker’s distinctive voice on radio or television during her 25-year career as a media personality and voice-over artist. She most recently co-hosted The John Curley and Shari Elliker Show on KIRO Radio in Seattle—a show honored as one of the “Heavy Hundred” talk shows in America by Talkers Magazine.
Previously, her solo talk show, The Shari Elliker Show on WBAL in Baltimore, earned her the Associated Press Award for “Best Talk Show – Chesapeake Region” two years in a row. She’s also a two-time AIR Award (Achievement in Radio) winner for her work on top stations including WJFK, DC-101, WHFS in Washington, D.C., and Sirius/XM.
As a voice actor, Shari has performed dozens of characters in popular video games such as The Elder Scrolls III, Star Trek: Legacy, and Fallout 3, and has voiced thousands of commercials and narrations for both national and local clients.
Her on-camera work includes television, independent films, and a recurring role on HBO’s VEEP as anchorwoman Andrea Tandy in seasons three and four.
In addition to her broadcast and voice work, Shari is a communications consultant, working with nonprofits, public speakers, and political figures. She has also produced several PSAs, comedy shorts, and special-interest projects.
She currently lives in Virginia with her husband, Treavor, and their dogs, Bella and Stella—all of whom have been trained not to bark during her recording sessions.
